Club Harness

Club

The Club harnesses come in a wide range of configurations and are suitable for Saloon (race & rally), GT and
Single Seaters. They are essentially the same as the Silverstone but use the Willans steel anti-creep
adjusters as standard rather than the alloy adjusters. All of Willans harnesses use the same slick rotary buckle and
range of anchorage fixings.

Below are a selection of the most popular configurations. For the full range and options check out the Harness Table.

The Club 4 Point 3 x 3 Caterham is what is known as a Short Strap harness and is very popular for both race and rally saloon cars. It uses 3" shoulder and lap straps with the Willans steel anti-creep adjusters on both for length adjustment. The Club 4 Point 3 x 2 Caterham uses the Willans standard adjusters on the 2" lap straps.

The Caterham option uses the Type A bolt-on fixings on all the straps for anchorage within the car.

The Club 6 Point 3 x 3 Single Seater is suitable for both single seaters and GT cars. The optional 2" lap strap is also shown in the picture.

The crotch straps are 2" wide with 1" wide loop one end to be passed through the ‘D’ rings on the lap straps before passing the shoulder strap down through the loop prior to connecting into the release mechanism (see photo).

All straps are fully adjustable. The 3" shoulder straps use Willans own anti-creep adjuster, whilst the 3" lap straps and crutch straps use double steel attachment lugs to give pinch plate spanner adjustment for control of wearer straps.

The Club T6 3 x 3 is suitable for Saloon and GTs with the appropriate mountings. It uses snap hook and eye fixings on all the harness straps. The T6 crotch strap can be permantenly fixed to the rotary buckle rather than the lap strap, making it ideal for endurance / long distrance racing where drivers changes are required.

Both the shoulder and lap straps use the Willans steel anti-creep adjusters whilst the crotch strap uses the 3 bar lockers.
