2ZZ 111R Engine Rebuild Section
2zz engine block for Lotus 111R and 211 fitted with a special torque plate so that boring can be carried out as if the cylinder head were in place. This has a beneficial effect upon power but also puts to rest the problem of high oil consumption related with this engine type. The bores actually pull 0.005" when the head is torqued on.
