The donor engine has some modifications made including some re-plumbing, some machining to the gearbox casing in order to allow the engine to run square rather than at an angle like some other tuners. The engine mounts are then produced in stainless steel 304 and in all we produce four special mounts including a link to the roll cage. The engine is also fitted with a trap door system to prevent oil surge. The reconditioned rear subframe is replaced with it's modifications in place.
You can also see the replacement wishbones which have been shot blasted and repainted in etch primer, basecoat and laquer. The hubs undergo the same treatment. All bushes are replaced with upgraded items, bearings and steering joints are replaced with new ones. Braided brake lines are also recommended at this point, we prefer braided brake lines which have a clear cover to avoid corrosion. As you can see from the photos the engine is fitted at the correct height with the sump being exactly level with the bottom of the car to keep the centre of gravity low.
